ACCESS FROM M25:
If approaching anti-clockwise, leave at Junction 20 and turn left towards Watford on the A41. Go straight on at the large roundabout along A411 (Hempstead Road)- follow as below.
If approaching clockwise leave at Junction 19. At the large roundabout turn right (third exit) towards Watford on the A411 (Hempstead Road).
At the first set of traffic lights turn right into Langley Way, there is a local information sign for the hockey club. Follow the road down, over the roundabout and "Essex Arms" public house, to a T-junction. Turn right into Coningesby Drive and after 100m you will enter the New Playing Field. ACCESS FROM M25:
Leave the M25 at Jn 21A and take the A405 towards Watford. After the 2nd set of traffic lights take the next right turning (back on yourself). The school can now be seen on the left side. Take the next left turning (High Elms Lane). Astro is at the rear of the school.
CLUBHOUSE & CHANGING ROOMS:
Sun Sports & Social Club, Bellmount Wood Avenue, Watford, Herts.
Visitors should park adjacent to the New Field astroturf, and retrace their tracks to the first corner in the access road. Pass through the gate and proceed into the Sun Sports building.
There is a changing room dedicated to visiting teams called "HOCKEY AWAY". If this is locked please ask at the bar for access. |
