The distinctive style and the colours of our kit clearly identifies your child as a West Herts Junior Hockey Club member. We therefore urge your child to wear West Herts Junior kit to training and most importantly to Junior Club Matches. Team kit makes your child feel part of not only their junior team, but also of the entire club, in line with our 'one club' ethos.
Essentials:
Shin-pads are essential items and must be worn at all times. Without these, your child will not be able to participate in either training or junior club matches.
We would also strongly recommend that your child wears a mouth-guard, ideally of the type fitted by dentists or professionals. Additionally, astro-turf boots are strongly recommended, particularly for when the pitch is wet and/or slippery.
Also, please make sure you child brings a full bottle of water to all training sessions.
